VPPC 2011 Video

The 7th IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (VPPC’11) and the entire organizing committee warmly welcome you to the beautiful city of Chicago. It is our utmost pleasure to host the flagship conference of IEEE in the areas of vehicle power and propulsion for the second time in Chicago (the very first conference was held in Chicago in 2005).

The VPPC”11 conference held in Downtown Chicago at the JW Marriott Hotel, located at 151 West Adams, Chicago, IL 60604, USA. The conference brings together individuals from academia, industry, and government to discuss and exchange ideas in the fields of sustainable transportation systems, electric, hybrid electric, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, as well as air, space, sea, and undersea vehicles.

2011 NSF VPPC Student Travel Support

The student authors are encouraged to apply for 2011 NSF VPPC Student Travel Support. Interested students should email following document to Prof. Alireza Khaligh (akhaligh@umd.edu).
-         The completed application form.
-         CV
-         A support letter from student’s advisor. This letter should mention if the student is a full-time or part-time student.

The student should register for the conference and present his or her paper. The deadline to submit all the required documents for application is Sept. 15, 2011.
